Teas from Mae Taeng are characterized by softness with little to no astringency and subtle sweetness when young.
Teas here are grown naturally among trees, despite the area not having a nature reserve status. The three leaves, one bud picking, offer a thicker mouthfeel, earthier character, while the fruitiness shines.
This production was made in a small workshop using materials collected from the local villagers.
Brewing recommendations:
3.5g / 100ml water
Lower temperature / under boiling temperature.
Pour carefully to not agitate the leaves too much.
Short steeps are recommended.
